Electoral Registration application to remain anonymous

Every person over the age of 18 who is eligible to vote should be registered on the Register of Electors. Each year during August to November Nottingham City Council will send out annual registration forms to each household requesting the names of all residents, so that they can be included in the Register of Electors. Since June 2007, it has been possible to register anonymously if you believe that your safety would be at risk if your details appeared on the register. This means that your details are kept private and your name and address are not disclosed on the published Register of Electors which is open to public inspection.
