The downloads available in this section of the website offer professionals information on working with women and children experiencing domestic violence who are from black and minority ethnic communities.  Workers should remember that women from different ethnic groups will face additional barriers to accessing services including racism, both perceived and real, and practical issues such as language and cultural differences.  It is important that workers are aware of these and access information that will improve their working practice.
