24 Hour Domestic Violence Help-line

The following pages are designed to enable women experiencing domestic violence to find information about domestic violence.  Links are  provided to other organisations websites that may be able to offer support or help.

The helpline number that you can see on  most pages of this website is available 24 hours a day.

It is a freephone number and will not show up on your phone bill if you ring from a landline.  If you ring from a mobile phone it may show up on your bill - you will need to check with your mobile phone network provider to check to see if this is the case.

If you ring and no-one can take your call immediately try again - the lines are sometimes busy but there is always someone there.

It is available in textphone for hearing impaired women from 9-5 each day:

It is connected to language line which allows translation in over 100 languages.
