Tenancy support for women in violent relationships
SHINE is a new tenancy support service for women experiencing domestic abuse in Nottingham City.
Our team of 12 support workers are supporting women in Nottingham City who are at risk of domestic abuse and have housing-related needs.
SHINE will support women who are moving on from a refuge, women who need support with moving home or with maintaining their tenancy, or who need support to understand what their housing options are. We will support women to get in touch with all the other agencies which they need to know about. We can work with a woman for up to about 6 months, meeting with them regularly to support them to achieve their goals.
