The training is free and covers a full day. The course aims are: To be aware of the link between domestic abuse and child protection To recognise indicators of abuse To feel more confident in working effectively with disclosure To safety plan and create safer environments with children during their contact with your service To be aware of the role of resilience for children and young people and the part you can play in capacity building To be aware of available resources and services for children and young people All delegates must have completed domestic violence awareness training. The dates are: Thursday 27th July - Barnardos , Sherwood Wednesday 27th september - Newstead Miners Welfare Wednesday 4th October - Barnardos, Sherwood Wednesday 8th November - Newstead Miners Welfare.
