Guidance on how to work with women with no recourse to public funds published

The guide is aimed at voluntary and community organisations and others who work or come into contact with women who are subject to domestic violence and the probationary period, (i.e the ‘Two Year Rule’) in immigration law.1 Ithas been produced jointly by Southall BlackSisters (SBS) and the Women’s Resource Centre (WRC).

The report originates from partnership work done by the two groups in 2004. The guide provides information and advice on how women with uncertain immgration status who are fleeing domestic violence can be supported.
