Broxtowe Women's Project training Courses

     Introduction to Civil Remedies to protect women and children in violent and abusive situations.

  • This is a Free half day course for anyone who is in contact with women who may experience domestic violence and abuse.
  • The course looks at the Family Law Act 1996 pt IV and the different types of orders within the civil law that are available to protect women from abuse and harassment.
  • The course will also cover the Children’s Act 1989. It will look at the main principles of the Act and the types of order that may be made to protect the interest of children. This will include contact orders.

Will be held on:          Tuesday 28th March 2006
